Cambridge University Press will be publishing the Journal of Anglican Studies from 2009. The journal was established by the Journal of Anglican Studies Trust just over six years ago.

According to Bruce Kaye, former general secretary of the Anglican Church of Australia and the journal’s editor, 'Around the world Anglicans work out their faith in vastly different circumstances which necessarily creates significant plurality of expression of the faith. As a consequence Anglicanism contains a good deal of variety and, in the present generation, significant differences and conflicts. The JAS seeks to address this situation by providing for engaged conversation among Anglican scholars around the world.'
