Studies in Conservation

The International Institute for the Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works' flagship quarterly journal, Studies in Conservation, will be published by Maney Publishing from 2012. For the first time the journal will be published online, via IngentaConnect, as well as in full-colour, in print.

Maney also plans to digitise the entire published archive of the journal with improved online search facilities. At the same time, the IIC will incorporate its biennial conference proceedings to the publication while 'News in Conservation', other group news and conference listings will be distributed alongside the journal.

Director of IIC publications, Joyce Townsend, said: 'Maney will provide a range of online publishing processes which will make it easier for readers to find and use research results, and to access the latest thinking on conservation, in our current and past publications.'
