An abstract database from the American Psychological Association (APA), PsycINFO, now has more than three million records. The three millionth entry indexed an article originally published in the November 2010 issue of Neuropsychology, an APA journal edited by Stephen M. Rao of the Cleveland Clinic, USA.

The Association has been abstracting and indexing literature in psychology and related disciplines for more than eight decades with the most recent million records added within the last 6 years. According to the APA, this stems from an expansion of PsycINFO to include growing coverage of neuroscience, life sciences, statistics, and forensics.
