English machine translations are now available for Chinese patent documents with Minesoft’s patent document delivery service PatentOrder at no extra cost.

Machine translations of Chinese patent documents can be requested from 1986 onwards. This compliments the existing function in PatentOrder to obtain English machine translations for Japanese documents dating from 1993.

PatentOrder customers also now have access to Korean PDFs. These are currently available in the original language.

In addition, customers who subscribe to the web version of PatentOrder hosted by Minesoft will now be able to order text-readable/searchable PDF copies of patent documents. The company is currently using optical character recognition (OCR) to convert its archive of patent documents to provide text-readable PDFs. These will also be available at no extra cost to customers.
