Internet library for engineers, Knovel, is to include Optics and Photonics information in its reference content. The new subject area focuses on the modelling and design of optical components and systems.
According to Knovel, the additional content will provide technological background, guidelines, calculations and best practice information for engineers. The subject area launches with 78 reference titles from notable societies and publishers including Cambridge University Press, Elsevier, SPIE, Springer, Wiley and World Scientific.
Topics covered include biomedical optics, information processing, quantum optics and microfabrication, photolithography and nanophotonics.
