Mining Engineering and Extractive Metallurgy

Share this on social media:

Mining Engineering and Extractive Metallurgy, a new subject area from web-based information provider Knovel, promises to provide must-have guidance on managing critical health and safety issues in a high-risk industry. It also promises practical information on improving mineral processing efficiency to lower the cost of production, maximise the value of extraction efforts and maintain competitive prices for globally-available commodity materials.

Mining Engineering and Extractive Metallurgy should assist engineers in solving complicated rock mechanics, water infiltration, erosion, mineral extraction and processing, and transportation problems on demanding timelines.

The new subject area, which will launch in May, will include material from notable societies, publishers, and US Government regulatory agencies including ASTM, Cambridge University Press, Elsevier, Wiley, ICMM, CDC/NIOSH, and others.
