Clinicians now can refer to a continually updated Merck Manual from any location using a personal digital assistant (PDA) or a wireless device. Unbound Medicine’s new release contains the unabridged contents of the just-published 18th edition of The Merck Manual – the work of more than 300 expert authors.

Unlike a print book, The Merck Manual for Mobile Devices promises to be continuously updated to keep clinicians informed of the latest developments that impact practice. The Unbound platform will deliver bi-monthly updates automatically to subscribers when they synchronise their handheld devices. The Unbound platform is said to optimise content presentation so that clinicians have the option of using a PDA or a wireless device like a Treo, smartphone, or BlackBerry.
