Local Economy: The Journal of the Local Economy Policy Unit will be published by SAGE from February 2011.
Founded in 1986, Local Economy is the official journal of the Local Economy Policy Unit (LEPU) at London South Bank University. This peer-reviewed journal is said to offer an interdisciplinary forum for the critical review of policy developments in the broad area of local economic development and urban regeneration. It aims to make academic research accessible to all working in the broad field of local economic and social change, bringing together policy analysts, researchers and practitioners concerned with local economic policies and social justice. The journal is published eight times per year.
