SAGE will publish the Journal of School Nursing (JOSN) and the NASN Newsletter for the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) from August 2008.

JOSN is said to provide a forum for advancing the specialty of school nursing, promoting the professional growth of school nurses, and improving the health of children in school. Published bi-monthly, it is indexed in MEDLINE, the Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health Literature, PsychINFO, and Scopus.

JOSN will be added to SAGE Journals Online (SJO). This will give libraries access to COUNTER-compliant usage statistics, advanced search features, articles published ahead of print with OnlineFirst, Web 2.0 features such as PDA article downloading and RSS feeds, and free linking to all references on HighWire.

SAGE is also custom publishing the NASN Newsletter, the bimonthly official newsletter of the National Association of School Nurses.
