Journal of Management Control
The German-language journal Zeitschrift für Planung und Unternehmenssteuerung (ZP) is now published entirely in English under the title Journal of Management Control (JoMaC).The journal editors and Springer said that they decided to make this move to keep up with the increasingly international nature of research in this field. The journal appears four times a year and features papers on business management topics in the fields of management control and controlling. It focuses in particular on empirical and analytical research.
As managing editor Uwe Götze from TU Chemnitz (Germany) commented, ‘This repositioning gives academics from German-speaking countries an attractive option for disseminating their research results throughout the world in English, the leading language of science.’ Conversely, international researchers can publish their papers in a scientific journal with a reputation acquired over two decades.
