Human Genomics and Proteomics
SAGE and Hindawi have launched Human Genomics and Proteomics, the first title from the two companies’ joint venture: SAGE-Hindawi Access to Research.
This peer-reviewed open-access journal is affiliated with FINDbase: the National/Ethnic Mutation Database, which documents frequencies of causative mutations leading to inherited disorders in various populations worldwide. The journal intends to provide a forum for the discussion of research on human genomics and proteomics, systems biology and various aspects of personalised medicine.
The journal will publish original and review articles about research on human genomics and proteomics. In addition, datasets submitted for inclusion in FINDbase will also be peer-reviewed and, if accepted, authors will be asked to write a short abstract for inclusion in the journal in a dedicated section: FINDbase datasets. This data will be published against a PubMed ID upon acceptance of the journal by PubMed/Medline.
The journal will be available online only, from the SAGE-Hindawi platform. Publishing an article in Human Genomics and Proteomics requires an article processing charge of £700.
