Springer and The Endocrine Society will co-publish a new journal, Hormones & Cancer, starting in January 2010. Hormonal cancers include two of the most deadly cancer subtypes, cancers of the breast and prostate. In addition to these cancers, Hormones & Cancer promises to include research articles covering other less-commonly occurring cancer subtypes, such as thyroid, gynecologic and pituitary cancer. The journal hopes to help to bridge the gap between those working in the two often disconnected fields of endocrinology and cancer research.
