SwetsWise eSource Manager, Swets' new electronic licence and resource management solution, has begun its Beta testing phase.

According to the company, SwetsWise eSource Manager has been designed to meet the complex licensing and subscriptions management needs of modern librarians and information professionals in an efficient, easy-to-use and effective way. It builds on the existing License Bank functionality in SwetsWise Subscriptions and delivers a pre-populated database of standard publisher licence conditions. This can be searched, viewed, and customised to reflect the customer’s specific publisher license agreements.

This pre-populated database is automatically updated with publisher changes. It also automatically associates a customer’s subscriptions with their licences. Promising to provide the largest collection of publisher licence information in the industry, this tool offersa range of reporting options and the ability to export all licence details in the Onix For Licensing Terms format.
