From January 2010, the Bulletin de la Société de Pathologie Exotique will join Springer's publishing programme. The Société de Pathologie Exotique was founded in 1908 by Nobel Laureate Louis-Alphonse Laveran and is said to play a major role in the promotion of health issues and information on tropical pathology.

The Bulletin de la Société de Pathologie Exotique publishes scientific articles in French and English as well as meeting reports. The Bulletin is published five times per year and is indexed in leading international databases such as Medline, Current Contents, Clinical Medicine, Pascal, and CABI Publishing.

Pierre Ambroise-Thomas, president of the Société de Pathologie Exotique, said, 'The partnership with Springer should enable us to increase the visibility and distribution of the Bulletin de la Société de Pathologie Exotique while maintaining its scientific standards.'
