Biophysical Reviews

Share this on social media:

The International Union for Pure and Applied Biophysics (IUPAB) and Springer will collaborate on a new journal.

Biophysical Reviews, which will launch in spring 2009, will be the new official journal of the IUPAB. The entire IUPAB council will form the editorial board of the new title.

The new quarterly journal will publish short and critical reviews from key scientists active in the field. It promises to cover the entire field of biophysics, which is generally defined as the science of describing biological phenomena and resolving their underlying principles using the concepts and techniques of physics. This includes such areas as bioinformatics, biophysical methods and instrumentation, medical biophysics, biosystems and cell biophysics.
