VAST

Alexander Street Press has introduced VAST, a new streaming video package for academic and public libraries.

VAST contains all the videos from 21 of Alexander Street’s individual collections and they are all cross-searchable. Every video included in VAST is said to be indexed to reflect important the search elements of its discipline collection.

The package has more than 10,000 titles now and is expected to grow to 22,000 titles by 2013. Alexander Street offers streaming video covering the performing arts, nursing, counselling therapy, business and economics, science, art and architecture, music, and other areas.
