F1000 Affiliate Program

The University of Chicago Press has joined the Faculty of 1000 (F1000) Affiliate Program. As an F1000 Affiliate Publisher, the University of Chicago Press will offer its readers free access to a selection of F1000 evaluations of University of Chicago Press journal articles.

Three F1000 evaluations will be published on the University of Chicago Press website each month, giving its readers access to expert opinions and perspectives on University of Chicago Press articles from the world’s leading researchers and clinicians.

F1000 highlights and evaluates the top 2 per cent of articles from among the wealth of biomedical literature published. F1000 draws on the expertise of over 9000 leading clinicians and researchers to provide expert commentaries on the latest scientific developments in the fields of Biology and Medicine, not only highlighting the best articles, but explaining why they are important.

The F1000 Affiliate Program offers scientific societies and publishers free access to selected evaluations rated by the F1000 Faculty.
