YBP Library Services and Ebrary seal 'eBook' deal

US provider of materials to academic libraries, YBP Library Services, and Ebrary, electronic content supplier, also of the US, have joined forces to make Ebrary titles available through YBP’s so-called GOBI online database.

The two companies have integrated Ebrary’s platform and its selection of electronic books with the GOBI system. According to Ebrary this provides an easy and efficient way for libraries to preview, order, and manage print and digital titles.

Linda Gagnon, senior vice president of electronic content integration and business development at YBP Library Services said: 'Not only does this enhance our selection of titles from publishers in all academic subject areas, but Ebrary also offers a very compelling platform with an easy-to-use interface featuring tools that enhance the research process.'
