Wiley is selling all of its travel assets, including the Frommer's brand, to Google. This is part of the company's strategy, anounced earlier this year, to focus on its core business areas and to explore selling its assets in areas such as travel, culinary, general interest, nautical, pets, crafts, Webster’s New World, and CliffsNotes.

Proceeds from the sale of the travel business and others will be redeployed to support growth opportunities in the company's core business areas of professional/trade; science, technology, medicine and scholarly; and education.
