Wiley has selected LibreDigital’s Internet Digital Warehouse solution to provide e-book, custom content, and discovery tools.

LibreDigital is a division of NewsStand, a privately-held company headquartered in Texas. The company develops technologies to enable book publishers to captivate readers across new print, online and mobile platforms, including the iPhone.

‘Our partnership with LibreDigital represents a significant milestone in Wiley’s Content Technology Initiative and helps us to fulfill our vision of enabling our customers to search across all of our content, and assemble their own product, which then can be delivered as they need—regardless of its source,’ said Gregory St. John, vice president of Web Publishing Technologies at Wiley. ‘The new capabilities that the LibreDigital hosted solution provides will also allow us to develop more efficient processes, and create new products that draw on content from across our three core businesses.’
