Two UK academic libraries have gone live with Encore, the discovery services platform from Innovative Interfaces. The two libraries are the University of Exeter and the Wellcome Library.

'We were keen to employ the increased integration and functionality afforded by Encore. By integrating print collections with electronic counterparts our customers have never had an easier way to find appropriate resources to support their research and teaching requirements,' said Martin Myhill, assistant director of collections and research support.

Robert Kiley, head of e-strategy at the Wellcome Library commented: 'We have a clear need to provide easier access to the library's holdings, and do so in ways which are intuitive, engaging and exploit both Web 2.0 functionality and the richness of the way we have cataloged these objects.'
