Team provides scholarly information training in Turkey

ACCUCOMS has established a team in Turkey to train end users of scholarly publications. ACCUCOMS’ team will organise training programmes to educate institutional subscribers and end users about information tools and research-oriented solutions. Pinar Teke, Sales and Training Executive, and Baris Öguz Yilmaz, Training Specialist, will organise, manage and coordinate all training sessions.

According to Teke. 'The training services in Turkey are attractive for well penetrated publishers who wish to increase usage of their products and maintain their business in the country, as well as create market awareness. Also some national agreements require ongoing trainings to libraries and end-users from publishers. As for why now, this service was created in response to the increasing need of customer retention in our current economy.'
