Swets has opened an office in Seoul, South Korea. This is the company's 26th regional office. It joins several other offices in the Asia/Pacific region, in Australia, China, Japan, Singapore and Taiwan.

'We are delighted to invest more resources and expertise into the South Korean market and are fully committed to achieving success with this venture,' said David Main, CEO of Swets. 'The well-established and advanced state of the economy, coupled with the high levels of investment in research and development, make it a highly interesting market for us and we are excited by the wealth of opportunities that this new office will bring in.'

The Seoul office will be led by Kyung Seol Lee, a former librarian at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). Swets will make its entire product and service portfolio available to all customers and publisher partners throughout South Korea.
