Social-science publishers pick ScholarOne

Emerald, which publishes academic and professional literature in management, library services and engineering, and social-sciences publishing house Multilingual Matters have both chosen ScholarOne’s Manuscript Central as their online peer-review systems.

Manuscript Central is said to offer scholarly publishers complete, database-driven software for the online submission and peer-review of full-text manuscripts and graphics. ScholarOne was recently bought by Thomson Scientific.
