According to the not-for-profit publisher, IOPP, recent analysis by US providers of professional information, Thomson Reuters, highlighted the journal as having a significant impact in the field of engineering.
The journal has also been placed among the most highly cited journals in this field, which according to the IOPP, shows Smart Materials and Structures to be a top publication choice for authors.
