SirsiDynix CEO resigns

Patrick Sommers is resigning from his position of chief executive officer of library-management system company SirsiDynix. The search for a new CEO will begin immediately, says the company.

‘Pat has done a marvellous job of leading and growing SirsiDynix,’ said Martin Taylor, operating principal of Vista Equity Partners, which acquired the company in January. ‘Under his tenure, SirsiDynix has become the world leader in the integrated library system market. His passion for SirsiDynix customers and his dedication to SirsiDynix employees will be missed.’
