Quartzy uses scrazzl API
CompareNetworks is partnering with Quartzy, which provides free online lab management software. Quartzy will use CompareNetworks' scrazzl developer application programming interface (API) to power research product discovery on its site.
According to CompareNetworks, the scrazzl developer API is used by a growing network of partners in the science, technical and medical industry to enable material search and discovery on their websites and applications. Over three million structured product records from the CompareNetworks site Biocompare are available for use through the scrazzl API. There are also plans to incorporate product data from other CompareNetworks verticals later this year.
Jayant Kulkarni, co-founder and CEO of Quartzy commented: 'Partnering with CompareNetworks and being a part of the scrazzl Syndication Network is a perfect fit for us. We're now able to provide researchers with links to detailed product information and ordering pages directly from our inventory management and product catalog pages. These links will save our users time when trying to decide which product to purchase and help them place orders more efficiently.'
'We are very excited to partner with Quartzy,' said David Kavanagh, managing director of scrazzl. 'Our goal is to form partnerships with great companies like Quartzy so that together we can help improve access to structured product information in order to improve the reproducibility of experimental science.'
