Oxford Journals will supply 206 journals to 6000 colleges in India. These will be in subject areas such as medicine, history, law, economics, and politics.

The deal was agreed with the Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) Centre, which was set up by the Indian government to create infrastructure for sharing library and information resources and services among academic and research institutions. The programme is being implemented in phases and INFLIBNET expects that within three years 6000 colleges will have access to OUP’s journals.
