New deal promotes engineering journals in Eastern Europe and Latin America

Professional Engineering Publishing (PE Publishing) has signed a two-year exclusive agreement with EMpact to promote its journals in parts of Eastern Europe and Latin America.

A subsidiary of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, PE Publishing publishes 18 journals across a variety of subjects of interest to international engineering community. Sixteen journals are grouped within the Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, each with its own identity and international editorial board.

‘PE Publishing’s customers cover a wide range of industry sectors, from academia to the corporate market,’ said Sid McNeal Jr., vice president and general manager of EMpact, which is part of the EBSCO group. ‘We are looking forward to exclusively representing their journal content in parts of Eastern Europe, Mexico, Central America, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela and the Caribbean.’
