The London Library takes on Ex Libris Primo and SFX solutions
The London Library has selected the Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution and SFX OpenURL link resolver from Ex Libris. These automation solutions promise to play a central role in enabling the library to improve support for research and make its collections more visible to members.
With the adoption of Primo and SFX, the London library will be able to provide a user-facing catalogue of books from its collections, as well as content from diverse online databases and e-journals. Users will enjoy easy access to library services directly from the search interface.
‘The library aims to make its collections, services, and facilities available to meet the needs of a broad spectrum of readers, many of whom have no other access to collections with the depth and reach of those found in universities or specialist institutes,’ commented Inez Lynn, librarian and chief executive of the London Library. ‘We look forward to working with Ex Libris on this exciting project.’
