HighWire appoints director of business development

HighWire Press has appointed Wendy Newsham as director of business development for North America.

Newsham joins the team in order to drive new business through strategic marketing and business development channels. She has worked in publishing for more than 25 years and has been involved in all aspects of the publishing process – from manuscript submission and tracking, through content production, to manufacturing and distribution. This has involved serving association and society publishers, as well as commercial publishers and university presses.

Newsham comes to HighWire from her previous role as director of client services at Aries Systems. She is based in Boston, USA.
