Former Ingenta CEO leaves merged company

Simon Dessain, chief operating officer of Publishing Technology and former chief executive of Ingenta, has announced that he is leaving the company.

According to Publishing Technology, which was formed from the merger of Ingenta and VISTA International in February 2007, Dessain has decided to develop his career elsewhere.‘Now that the merger is finalised, the integration of the two businesses is well under way and the right management is in place at the operating subsidiaries, I feel that the time has come for me to pursue new opportunities,’ explained Dessain.

George Lossius, chief executive of Publishing Technology, said: ‘On behalf of the board, I’d like to thank Simon for all his hard work in helping to develop Publishing Technology. We wish him well.’

Dessain will remain with the company until the end of July.
