Europe PMC adds tool to link articles to ORCID

Share this on social media:

Europe PMC now offers researchers the ability to link articles to an ORCID. The tool can also be found under the ‘Resources’ menu on the Europe PMC home page. According to Europe PMC, 'In this interface you can link any of the 28 million works available in Europe PMC to your ORCID'.

The repository says that adding articles to your ORCID is a simple three-step process. First, researchers link publications. 'Having signed-in via ORCID, Europe PMC presents you with a list of articles based on the names in your ORCID profile. Select the publications that you wish to link using the check-box next to the article title,' Europe PMC's blog explains. The next step is to review the bibliography to 'check that you have linked all the articles you expected'. The third step is to click a button to update your ORCID profile with the selected publications.
