Emerald acquires Pier Professional

Emerald Group Publishing has acquired Pier Professional, a UK-based publisher of health and social care journals. The acquisition brings an additional 23 journals to Emerald.
The journals span subjects such as mental health and well-being, criminal justice and care, intellectual and learning disabilities. They include, amongst others, British Journal of Forensic Practice, Tizard Learning Disability Review, Journal of Public Mental Health and Drugs and Alcohol Today.
