Edinburgh University Press selects Atypon

Edinburgh University Press (EUP), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the University of Edinburgh, has chosen e-publishing services company Atypon Systems, to develop an online journals and reference work publication and hosting platform.

Atypon will provide a new, individually-branded, content management and delivery website, including providing pay per view and other e-commerce functionality. EUP hopes to gain increasing discoverability and widening readership and revenues as part of the agreement.

In addition to journal content, the site will allow EUP to publish online its Africa Bibliography, a searchable database of published works in African studies. This will be available in a number of languages, including Portuguese, French and German, as well as English.
