Coutts supplies e-books to Scottish academic libraries

Scotland's APUC (Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges) Limited has selected the Ingram companies Coutts and MyiLibrary together as one of three suppliers in its first framework agreement for the supply of e-books.

'The technology which MyiLibrary offers will contribute to increased efficiency in staff activities for the acquisition, organization and aintenance of key library content, and will help us address space issues,' said Alison Redpath of Edinburgh Napier University. 'Our key aim of supporting learning and teaching will be greatly enhanced by 24/7 imultaneous access and enhanced functionality for our users.'

The framework agreement is due to start in November and last for two years.
