Brill has chosen PubFactory to develop its next-generation platform to host its journals, books, reference works, and corporate site.

Brill’s selection of PubFactory to host its online publishing platform will include a redesign and integrate the breadth of their journals, books, and selected reference works content to create a unified user experience across their digital publishing program.

Founded in 1683, Brill is the oldest publishing house in the Netherlands and publishes specialised content in the humanities, international law, and selected science disciplines.

Olivier de Vlam, EVP for finance and operations at Brill said: ‘We have chosen the PubFactory platform for its proven track record of supporting the different content types that Brill publishes and for its strong customer service reputation.’

Jose Fossi, VP of client services at Safari, said: ‘PubFactory has been architected to allow integration across subjects and breakdown traditional content silos. We are thrilled to partner with such a forward looking and prestigious publisher, in bringing under a single unified platform, more than 250 journals, thousands of books, and rich reference works collections.’
