Delegates visiting the CILIP 2015 conference in July are being encouraged to book this week, to take advantage of an 'earlybird' discount.

The event, which is to be held at Liverpool's St George's Hall from 2 to 3 July, features keynote speakers including: professor and author R. David Lankes; author, journalist and activist Cory Doctorow; and human rights activist and director of Liberty, Shami Chakrabarti.

The conference will seek to inspire our audience, share knowledge, raise debate and provide networking opportunities. It will cover a broad range of issues from across the library, information and knowledge professions.

Activities will be based around four key themes:  Information management, information literacy and digital inclusion, demonstrating value, and digital futures and technology. These themes reflect the issues that affect our sector on a day-to-day basis and the sessions, delivered by experts in their field, have been selected with a view to both entertain and inform.

Anyone who books their place at the conference by Friday 24 April will qualify for a discounts, with savings of more 20 per cent on selected delegate packages. Bookings received after this date will be charged at the standard conference fee.

Full conference delegate package includes refreshments and lunches on 2 and 3 July, as well as entry to the conference drinks reception at the Museum of Liverpool on 2 July.
