Biochemical Society appoints new publishing head

The Biochemical Society has appointed Caroline Black as the managing director of its publishing division, Portland Press Ltd. Black has previously worked for the British Institute of Radiology, Thomson Science, Lippincott Williams and Wilkins, Blackwell Publishing and Mac Keith Press.
