APA ebooks now available through ebrary

The American Psychological Association (APA) has made several hundred ebooks available to institutions via the ebrary platform. For the first time, libraries will be able to select individual titles, choosing from the Perpetual Archive (PA), Demand-driven Acquisition (DDA), and Short-term Loans (STL) models.

Libraries can purchase APA titles either directly from ebrary or through its global distribution partners including YBP and Coutts. Initially, more than 250 titles published between 2009 and 2014 are being made available.
APA is a leading publisher of scholarly, professional, and reference books in psychology and the behavioural and social sciences. It publishes titles that are anchored in scholarly knowledge, informed by empirical research, and translated into practical applications. APA also publishes self-help books for adults through its APA LifeTools trade imprint. 2014 marks the 25th year of the modern APA Books publishing program, during which APA will publish its 1,500th book since 1989.
A ProQuest business, ebrary is a leading provider of ebooks and research technology to libraries worldwide. Founded in 1999, the company offers more than 450,000 ebooks from over 500 publishers.
APA titles released for distribution via ebrary include virtually all of APA’s scholarly, professional, and reference books published since 2009 as well as select APA LifeTools trade titles. Volumes in the APA Handbooks in Psychology Series are not included, but are available for institutions to purchase directly from APA for electronic delivery on the APA PsycNET platform.
