Academic publisher and sporting body strike deal

Multi-Science Publishing and the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) have agreed a licence that will give the association's members unrestricted online access to the International Journal of Sports Science & Coaching, The Annual Review of Golf Coaching series, and the Sports Science Handbook, from 2010.
'Professionalising coaching in this country comes in part through coaches being able to use high quality, peer-reviewed materials of this sort, commented Kyle Phillpots, PGA's director of training and education, 'Empowered coaches are better coaches.'
The publisher is also talking to the US Fencing Coaches Association, and Australian Track & Field Coaches Association about similar agreements.
