Thieme licenses Luxid for semantic content enrichment

Thieme will use the Luxid semantic software from TEMIS to assist in the semantic enrichment and categorisation of its electronic content.

'Luxid will be an extremely useful tool in helping us to continue improving our offering in order to better assist our clients,'said Udo Schiller, publishing director of Thieme.

'The pharmaceutical and medical industries, as well as the STM publishing sector, are important fields of application for our solutions,' added Stefan Geißler, managing director of TEMIS Germany and co-founder of TEMIS.
