Take part in our reader survey!

Research Information readers are being urged to take part in a short survey designed to uncover recent trends and future priorities within the scholarly publishing community.

The questionnaire, which should take no more than 10 minutes complete, is open to those working in academia and the wider industry – librarians, researchers, funders, publishers, and tech/platform providers. It will run for the whole of January 2026 and the results will be published shortly after that.

Publishing editor Tim Gillett said: “We want to look back over the last three years to find out what has changed in terms of priorities for those working in scholarly communications – both inside and outside academia – and a look ahead to try to predict how those priorities might change in coming years.

“Our wide readership across the whole industry – and across the world – should ensure a good overview of world of scholarly communications as well as helping to inform the future direction of content within our publication.”
