ResearchGate has announced a new Journal Home partnership with the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) aimed at increasing readership and authorship across the society’s journal portfolio.

The agreement covers all ASABE journals, including both subscription and hybrid titles, spanning key disciplines in agriculture and biology. Through the partnership, ResearchGate’s Journal Home service will help expand the global visibility of these titles across the platform’s network of more than 25 million researchers.

The initiative is designed to strengthen engagement between journals, readers and authors while improving access to ASABE’s research outputs.

Participating journals will benefit from increased usage and readership through the delivery of full-text journal content directly on the ResearchGate platform, helping the content reach more relevant researcher communities.

The partnership also aims to support growth in authorship by fostering stronger interaction with both established and emerging authors throughout the research cycle. Additional features will include enhanced author support, such as automatic uploads of published articles to author profiles and improved insights into how research is being read, shared and cited.

ASABE journals will also gain increased visibility and branding through dedicated Journal Profiles and prominent placement across the ResearchGate platform.

“Journal Home helps ASABE more broadly share technical knowledge and support professionals with high-quality resources,” said Joseph C. Walker, Director of Publications, ASABE. “With the improved access and global visibility, we will attract the most relevant authors and readers from across the engineering and technology community worldwide, raising public awareness and advancing sustainable solutions.”

“We’re pleased to welcome ASABE to Journal Home and help them grow even more meaningful engagement across their full journal portfolio,” said Mathias Astell, VP of Commercial Products at ResearchGate. “By facilitating stronger connections between readers, authors, and journals, this partnership increases scale and measurable impact while supporting continued growth and opportunity for these specialised researcher communities.”
