Researcher to Reader conference programme announced
The full programme for the next Researcher to Reader (R2R) conference – held in London on 24 to 25 February 2026 – is now available.
The conference will feature a keynote on openness and integrity, a panel debate, several presentations covering alternate publication formats and the global impact of AI – as well as multiple panels, roundtables and case studies on business models, peer review and open science infrastructure.
There will also be a series of workshops, where participants can collaborate on community communication, crisis preparation, AI for authors, book metadata or peer review recognition.
Organiser Mark Carden said: “In total we have about eight and a half hours of plenary content, three hours of workshopping, and five and a half hours of networking, all crammed into two very full days. Plus, we will be announcing our usual roster of around 15 lightning talks in January, as an optional extra during the breaks. R2R is noted not just for our vigorously curated content, but also for our collegiate atmosphere, productive networking and efficient organisation.”
Registration is open HERE.
To make the event more affordable for academics and librarians, there are two ticket offers:
- Discounts (up to 85% off) for anyone who works in an academic organisation.
- Up to 50 free ‘partner tickets’ for a full-price registrant to give away to someone new to R2R, who works in an academic organisation.
There are also discounts for returning registrants, and concession pricing for job-seekers, small companies and low-wage economies – and an ‘early bird’ price until the end of November. All tickets are fully refundable until the end of January.
