Peerage of Science picks up Finnish award

Peerage of Science has won this year's Communications Professionals of Finnish Universities annual recognition award. According to a translation of the award organisers' comments, the peer-review service offers 'a new, innovative way to conduct scientific peer review that boldly challenges and commercialises traditional peer-review practices and facilitates international scientific communications'.

The annual award is given to people or organisations for accomplishment in scholarly communication.

Peerage of Science has also announced that PeerJ has joined the list of journals that welcome links to Peerage of Science peer reviews in their submissions.
