Clarivate has launched the Web of Science Community Forum, a new initiative designed to empower its customers to help guide the evolution of Web of Science, foster knowledge sharing and enhance networking. The Community Forum will bring together library professionals from academic and non-academic institutions, providing a platform for collaboration and community-driven product development.

The company says the Community Forum will serve as a hub where members can actively influence its product roadmap, connect with Web of Science product experts, learn from peers and collaborate on shared initiatives.  Activities will primarily take place through online meetings, web forums, and other virtual channels, with the potential for future on-site events to enhance collaboration.

Web of Science Community Forum members will benefit from:

  • Regular product updates: Receive the latest updates on product developments and provide feedback on the vision and strategy in periodic meetings with the Web of Science product team.
  • Influencing the product roadmap: Vote on product enhancements based on your institutional priorities and the needs of the research community.
  • Knowledge sharing: Engage in peer-to-peer learning and exchange best practices, experiences and strategies for using Web of Science to achieve research goals.
  • Networking opportunities: Build connections with fellow information professionals and collaborate with Clarivate experts on industry initiatives, special projects and events.

“The new Community Forum expands on this successful collaboration and allows a larger group of customers to play an active role in shaping the future of the Web of Science.”
