Emerald announces ReadCube partnership
Emerald Group Publishing has announced a partnership with the publishing software company ReadCube.
Through the Boston-based company's Discover service, all Emerald research content – including more than 200,000 journal articles, book chapters and teaching case studies – have been deep-indexed, allowing for increased discoverability across ReadCube’s web, desktop, and mobile reading portals, search engines and recommendation feeds.
This content significantly increases ReadCube’s coverage in subject areas such as business, management and strategy, marketing; accounting, and finance and economics.
'Emerald is committed to providing the best possible service and support to its global community of authors and readers, particularly in our core area of business and management research,' said Tony Roche, publishing director at Emerald. 'Working with ReadCube enables us to continue to increase accessibility, discoverability, and readability of our content.'
The collection is now available in ReadCube’s 'enhanced' reading format. Features include hyperlinked in-line citations and figures, annotation capabilities, clickable author names, one-click access to supplemental content and figures, social sharing, and altmetrics.
'We are very pleased to have Emerald part of our growing network of more than 70 publishers,' says Robert McGrath, ReadCube CEO. 'Together, through connecting the PDF to the research world around it, we continue to support both readers and authors alike.'
