Cactus Communications and De Gruyter Brill launch author services

Cactus Communications is partnering with De Gruyter Brill to offer author support services through its brand, Editage. The collaboration will offer De Gruyter Brill authors editorial, translation, publication, and research promotion services designed to reduce manuscript preparation time, increase acceptance-readiness for international  journals and books, and maximise post-publication reach. 

Through the partnership, Editage will provide De Gruyter Brill authors publishing in the fields of  Health, Medicine, and Life Sciences with  support through the research journey. Authors will have access to: 

  • Subject-peer copyediting, pre-submission peer review, manuscript formatting, figure/ART preparation. 
  • Plagiarism and source-verification reports, reporting-guideline checks, language sensitivity review for patient-facing content. 
  • Graphical abstracts, plain-language summaries, video abstracts, targeted promotion packages. 

The partnership “reflects the shared commitment of both organisations to elevate the author experience, safeguard research integrity, and ensure that high-quality research continues to drive progress in the global research ecosystem”, say the two companies.
