Journals from the Australian Academic Press
Cambridge University Press has acquired the journal list of the Australian Academic Press (AAP). The AAP list consists of 19 titles either owned by AAP or published on behalf of several learned societies.
The AAP journals are described as internationally-recognised, peer-reviewed titles that specialise in psychology, neuropathology, rehabilitation and behavioural science. They showcase Australian and New Zealand content alongside international contributions and several specialise in research within the geographical area of Australasia and the Pacific.
Speaking about AAP’s future direction, Amanda Hearn, marketing and sales manager at AAP said: ‘This sale reflects AAP’s refocused strategy to further strengthen our position as a premier provider of psychological resources for both practitioners and their clients, as well as a niche academic publisher of high quality books and monographs distributed worldwide, both online and in print.’
